  • Amber Bianco

    Owner + Haircut Specialist

After graduating from the Paul Mitchell school in 2007, AMBER BIANCO spent two years in an assisting program in Boston, MA. She returned to RI and for several years honed in on her skills and built a steady base of loyal clients. In 2016, she co-built Sage PVD, a hair studio that reflected both herself and her art. After almost 8 years, she entered a new chapter of sole ownership under a. hair studio.

A well rounded stylist, she balances her craft in the same way she occupies her space: laid back with a razor focus on her clients needs as individuals, most of whom she is proud to admit have become close friends.

Specializing in haircuts, she employs dry haircut techniques working with natural texture to create effortless styling. Using skills learned in razor cutting, precision haircutting, and the John Sahag dry cut technique, she will be sure to find what method works best for your face shape, texture, and lifestyle.

Ambers greatest goal is to help you look the way you feel. Offering haircut services priced by length, not gender, to help create a safe space for all identities.

A lifelong artist, her work as a hairstylist—in particular, her organic, artistic approach to hand-painting highlights—expresses her passion for art and fulfills her creative need. Moved by a deep desire to connect with others, she views time spent with clients as a collaboration between a client’s goals, her expertise, and a shared vision.
